Dolas McElroy, age 83, passed away Sunday, August 08 2021 at Fairoaks Nursing Home.
He was born on Saturday, January 15 1938, in Russell Springs, Kentucky.
He was the son of:
Mother – Alma Foley McElroy, who has preceded him in death
Father – Colonus McElroy, who has preceded him in death

He is also survived by his son in law, Michael Marcum, of Russell Springs, five grandchildren, Jeremy (Andrea) Thomas, Joseph (Natalie), Casey (Eric) Reeder, Jordan (Brooke) Walters and Cody McElroy, six great-grandchildren, Haydn Walters, Kayla Reeder, Emma Thomas, Owen Thomas, Kayden Reeder and Everleigh Walters and In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Sullivan McElroy, his daughter, Linda Marcum a great-grand daughter, Brandy Michelle Thomas and siblings Betty Stephens, Donald McElroy, Brenda Manley, Oreta Tucker and Patsy Hair. He was a member of Beckham Ridge Separate Baptist Church and a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 11 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Visitation will be 10 AM Wednesday, August 11 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Interment will be in Russell Springs Cemetery, 1516 Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
