Lakers halt late Bardstown rally to end reg. season with win

The Russell County Lakers finished out the regular season with a win Thursday on the road at Bardstown by a score of 7-6.

The Lakers led 7-2 entering the bottom of the seventh, but the Tigers rallied, scoring four runs. Aiden Antle entered the game and forced the final out, a groundout to third base.

Cody Luttrell picked up the win on the mound, pitching two innings, giving up one run on three hits and striking out four.

Issac Roy hit his third homerun of the season as part of a 3-RBI night. Aiden Antle and Nathan Lawson drove in two runs each.

The Lakers finish the regular season with a record of 27-6.
