Russell County Coroner Mark Coots told WJRS News a Jamestown man passed away following a tractor accident Tuesday afternoon.
Jimmy Caldwell, age 64 of Jamestown, was operating a tractor on Old Dunbar Road when he left the roadway, went over an embankment, and the tractor rolled over on him.
Caldwell was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Russell County Coroner’s Office at 3:53 p.m., Coots said.
The Russell Springs Fire Department, Russell Springs Police Department, Russell County Sheriff’s Office, and Russell County EMS also responded to the scene.
