Anyone 16 and older in Kentucky eligible for vaccine by Monday

Yesterday, Gov. Andy Beshear announced all Kentuckians 16 and older will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine April 5.

Only the Pfizer vaccine is approved for 16 and 17-year-olds.

People between the ages of 16 and 39 in the commonwealth were previously told they’d be able to sign up for a dose by April 12, but Beshear said he was pushing that date up a week
