Sign ups for LCDHD vaccine appointments begin today

The Lake Cumberland District Health Department has received a limited supply of 700 COVID-19 vaccines and will be hosting clinics this week. This is only for those in Phase 1a or Phase 1b, including those 70 and older. This is a one-time vaccine allocation from the state. Not every county in the Lake Cumberland District received an allocation. Individuals can schedule appointments for these vaccines beginning today, February 2 at 8 a.m. CT (don’t call early, the service will not be operational).

To get an appointment for Russell County, contact 270-343-2181. Once the automated attendant starts, dial “9”.

A list of other county phone numbers are below.

Adair: 270-384-2286
Casey: 606-787-6911
Clinton: 606-387-5711
Green: 2709324341
Taylor: 270-465-4191
Wayne: 606-348-9349

Supply is limited, and the health department anticipates much more demand than they have supply.

“We apologize in advance that we will not be able to accommodate everyone who wants a vaccine,” the department said in a press release.
