Medical Center at Albany named COVID vaccine site

Russell Countians in Phases 1A and 1B seeking to get the COVID-19 vaccine have another option close to home.

The Medical Center at Albany has been designated a regional vaccination site by the Governor’s Office and will be providing vaccines for individuals in Phase 1A and 1B.

Vaccinations will be performed at The Welcome Center of Clinton County at 28 Welcome Center Drive in Albany and are by appointment.

Those interested in scheduling an appointment can do so by texting the word “SHOT” to 606-387-3646 or emailing albanyvaccine@mchealth.net.

Med Center Health will bill insurance companies for administration costs and individuals will not incur any costs. The vaccine will be provided regardless of whether or not a person has insurance.
