Light Snow Showers Possible Tonight

Good morning and happy Monday everyone. It was nice to see a little bit of snow over the weekend as we had a dusting on the ground as we woke up on Saturday morning. Today, our weather will be quiet with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 30’s. There may be a flurry or two especially this morning, but we should remain dry throughout the day.

Better chance of some light showers and maybe snow showers for tonight, let’s look at the latest hour-by-hour…

This latest run has mostly just rain showers for us with the better chance of snow showers to the north, but with temperatures dropping into the 30’s this evening I don’t see any reason why we will not at least see a few flurries tonight. Looking ahead our next system that brings precipitation looks to arrive late Wednesday and into Thursday. Let’s check out the long range model…

This model is showing mainly rain, but I do believe that as we get closer it will begin to show snow as temperatures will be well within the range for snow showers. Not to confident on having much in the way of accumulations with this next system, but we will definitely keep an eye on it and update as necessary.
