Jamestown man arrested following traffic stop

A Jamestown man was arrested on several charges following a traffic stop Thursday afternoon.

Russell Springs Police arrested Michael Colyer, 35, on a number of charges. Colyer was charged with assault fourth degree, disregarding a stop sign, fleeing or evading police in a vehicle, fleeing or evading police on foot, burglary third degree, driving on an expired license, failure to notify of address change, reckless driving, and bribery of a public servant.

Colyer was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at 12:39 p.m. Thursday.
