Local law enforcement made multiple arrests over the weekend. Those arrested included the following individuals:
- Buford Shepherd, 48, arrested by Russell County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two counts of burglary second degree, theft by unlawful taking, and giving an officer false identifying information. Shepherd was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at 7:34 p.m. Saturday.
- Christy Lawless, 45, arrested by Russell Springs Police Department and charged with theft of mail matter, disorderly conduct second degree, and menacing.
