A long time member of the Jamestown City Council has died as a result of COVID.
Larry Joe Murray died around 9 p.m. Thursday night at a Bowling Green hospital where he had been hospitalized for almost two weeks with complications from the virus.
Murray has served on the Jamestown City Council for several years and was well known and well regarded throughout the community.
Murray was 70 years old.
WJRS News will have funeral arrangements when they are released.
