Two persons were arrested Friday evening by Russell County Deputy Sheriff Kenny Perkins.
31 year old Jamie Sharp of Dunnville was arrested and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center shortly before 7 o’clock Friday, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree-Methamphetamine; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, drug unspecified; and two counts of Theft By Unlawful Taking.
Also arrested Friday evening was 51 year old Johnny Dale Smith of Jamestown. Smith was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking-Auto, greater than $10,000 in value. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center by Deputy Perkins around 7:45 Friday evening.
