Four Persons Arrested on Drug Charges on Thanksgiving Day

Four persons were arrested Thursday by local law enforcement officials.   Shortly after two o’clock Thursday, 36 year old Steven Huff of Columbia was arrested by Officer Hayden Phillips of the Russell Springs Police Department.   Huff was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine;  Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

Around 3:30 Thursday, 46 year old Tammy Pierce of Russell Springs was charged by Trooper Billy Begley of the Kentucky State Police with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, first degree, second or greater offense;   Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug;  and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

36 year old April Weston was also arrested on drug related charges around 5:30 Thursday afternoon.   Weston was charged by Deputy Bullock of the Russell County Sheriff’s office with Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree-Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

And, 49 year old Randy Copley of Dunnville was charged around 6:30 Thursday evening with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, first degree, second or greater offense-methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.   Copley was arrested by Trooper Begley of the State Police.

 

All four persons were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
