The Russell County Lakers were scheduled to play its annual rivalry matchup with the Adair County Indians on Friday, Nov. 6.
That game had to be cancelled due to scheduling issues involving COVID-19 cancellations earlier in the season, leaving Russell County with an open date.
According to the KHSAA schedule, that vacancy appears to be filled, as it seems the Lakers will hit the road to Taylor County to take on the Class 3A Cardinals, who currently hold a 6-1 record on the year.
Kickoff is currently scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
