A young Russell County doctor has been chosen as the state’s top young family physician. Dr. LeeAnn Dalton Cooper has been selected by Kentucky Family Medicine as the state’s top young doctor. Cooper began practicing medicine in Russell County three years ago and works at Family Practice Associates located on Dowell Road, near the Russell County Hospital. Cooper will receive the award at a ceremony in Louisville on September 25th. Cooper is a native of Russell county. She and her husband Vic reside in Russell Springs with their daughter, Evelyn.
