Last Week of “Virtual Only” Instruction for Russell County Schools

Today marks the start of the final week of school in Russell County before fall break, and it will also be the last week of “virtual only” instruction.    Russell County schools will observe fall break next week and there will be no instruction.   Beginning on Monday, October 12th, students will have the option to attend in-person classes for at least part of the school week.   On “All Things Russell” radio program this past Friday, Superintendent Michael Ford said he expects about 80% of students will attend in-person classes.   During the program, Ford discussed the requirements for resuming school in person, and what parents and students can expect.   Persons interested may listen to a podcast of the program by visiting our website, laker country dot com, and going to the pull down menu “All Things Russell”.
