Jamestown Fire Department Responds to Trailer Fire

No injuries reported

The Jamestown Fire Department was called out early Wednesday morning to a trailer fire south of town.

According to Jamestown Fire Chief Jeff Landers, his department responded to the two o’clock call of a mobile home on fire on Wooldridge Schoolhouse road, just south of Jamestown, off highway 127. Landers told WJRS NEWS the abandoned trailer was fully engulfed in flames when firemen arrived on the scene. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to a nearby mobile home.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
