Clerk’s Office Establishes Voting Guidelines for General Election

The Russell County Board of Elections and the Clerk’s Office has finalized guidelines for the upcoming November General Election.

Registered voters can now request absentee ballots. You can call the Clerk’s Office at 343-2125 or go online to sos.ky.gov or govoteky.com. The last day to request an absentee ballot is on October 9th.

Early in-person voting will begin on October 13th. Every registered voter can vote during this time and can do so until November 2nd.

There will be two super centers along with the County Clerk’s Office where folks can go vote at regardless of precinct.

The two super centers will be the South Kentucky RECC Community Room and the LEVEE Building behind the Russell County Courthouse.

Saturday voting will be available from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon only at the Russell County Clerk’s Office.

Both supercenters will be open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Election Day with results from Election Day and early voting being announced that night. Mail-in absentee voting results will be announced on November 6th at 4:00 pm.
