The Russell County Girls Golf team finished in third place overall with a team score of 374 over the weekend at the Kentucky Invitational Tournament at Lakewood Country Club.
McKenzie Trautman shot a personal-best score of 76 to lead the way for the Lakers, which was good enough for second overall. Breanna Trautman also shot a personal-best, with a score of 85. Madalyn Wright and Emily Coe shot a 100 and 113, respectively.
The Russell County Girls Golf Team wanted to give a special thank you to Lakewood Country Club for hosting the tournament and First National Bank for being the title sponsor.
