Several Indictments Returned Tuesday

Several persons were indicted yesterday by a Russell County Grand Jury.   Among those charged are:

         *25-year-old Travis Passmore and 36-year-old Michael Passmore, both of Russell Springs, were each charged with two counts of Wanton Endangerment, first degree, a class D felony;

         *Anthony Corrado, age 27 of Nancy, was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance first degree, methamphetamine, a Class C felony, and other misdemeanor and traffic offenses;

         *55-year-old William Wilson of Russell Springs is charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance first degree, methamphetamine, a Class C felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, and Persistent Felony Offender, Second degree;

         *Amber Huff, age 33, of Russell Springs, charged with Sale of a Simulated Controlled Substance, a Class D felony;

         *Charles Elkins, Jr., age 61 of Russell Springs, charged with Driving under the Influence, 4th offense or greater; Driving on a DUI suspended license, both Class D felonies;

         *31-year-old Vanna Williams of Russell Springs charged with Custodial Interference, a Class D felony;

         *LeeAngela Graham, age 24, and 40-year-old John Thompson, both of Russell Springs, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class D felony;

         *21-year-old Christopher Bunch charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree, methamphetamine;

         *William Chapman, age 35, of Russell Springs, charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree, methamphetamine;

         *38-year-old Ryan Butrum of Jamestown charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree, methamphetamine;

         *Anthony Byers, age 36 of Jamestown, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree, methamphetamine;

         *Jack Lusk, age 32, of Russell Springs, and Byron Marcum, age 37 of Jamestown, charged each with burglary, third degree; theft by unlawful taking, miscellaneous misdemeanor offenses, and both with being Persistent Felony Offender;

         *Lee Stargle, Jr., age 52 of Russell Springs, charged with two counts of Rape, first degree; and two counts of Incest;

         *27-year-old Michael Foley of Jamestown was charged with Burglary, third degree; two misdemeanor offenses; and Persistent Felony offender;

         *Michael Ellison, age 38 of Jamestown, charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class D felony;

         *Steven Hunter, age 55 of Richmond, Kentucky, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree, methamphetamine.

Listeners are reminded that an indictment does not imply guilt, but simply means that probable cause has been established.   All persons are presumed innocent unless and until proven otherwise.
