Slide Repairs to Begin Next Week on U.S. 127 in Russell County
Project area is near Wolf Creek Dam overlook
SOMERSET, Ky. (July 28, 2020) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that beginning Monday, Aug. 3, crews will begin rock slide repairs on U.S. 127 in Russell County, south of the Wolf Creek Dam.
Crews will be starting work on KY 1730 clearing trees and brush beginning at mile point 0.3 and ending at mile point 1.4, near the Wolf Creek Dam overlook.
At this time work will have minimal impact on motorists.
The starting date may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
