Governor Beshear last Wednesday announced persons needing assistance with unemployment claims in person will have the chance to do so.
Locally, folks needing assistance in person will be able to go to Somerset on Tuesday, July 7th and also on July 8th. Also beginning next week, in person services will be offered five days a week in Frankfort.
The Governor says “We are working day in and day out to rebuild an unemployment office that through years of neglect, and then huge cuts in 2017, started this year with 12 individuals that could face-to-face communicate with the public.”
