A tragic accident Saturday afternoon in Clinton County has left a two-year-old child dead.
Reports from Albany say the child died when a vehicle was backing from a driveway, did not see the child behind the vehicle, and accidentally ran over him. The two-year-old, Tommy Coffey, was pronounced dead immediately after the incident. The vehicle was being driven by Nathan Goodrich, also of Albany, who was reportedly the boyfriend of the child’s mother.
The accident occurred around 2 o’clock Saturday at a residence on Guffey Street in Albany. No further details have been made available at this time.
