Autic Loy, age 84, of Jamestown

Autic Loy, age 84, died Saturday,  July 25th, 2020, at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington.
He was a self-employed livestock dealer and a partner in the Russell County Stockyards, Farmer Livestock Market in Glasgow, and Lake Cumberland Livestock Market in Somerset.
He loved every aspect of the cattle industry and enjoyed promoting it. He also enjoyed being on the farm and checking his cattle everyday.   He was a member of the Fairview Separate Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Vivan Loy and Ruth (Warriner) Loy, and a brother Jimmy Dale Loy.

Survivors include his wife – Irene Popplewell Loy, of Jamestown.  A son:   Jeff (Vicki) Loy, of Jamestown;  and a daughter:- Nenna (Barry) Lawson, of Russell Springs.
Grandchildren – Weston Loy, Kaylyn Loy, Brannon Lawson, Nathan Lawson.
Brother – Arvis (Rosalie) Loy, Jamestown
Sisters – Helen Grant, Dunnville and Jeanette (Jimmie) Bolin,  of Jamestown
Sister in law – Carol Loy, Jamestown
A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service for Autic Loy will be 3 pm on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at the Fairview Separate Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Baldwin and Bro. Barry Lawson officiating.
Visitation will be 10 am till funeral time at 3 pm at the church.  Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Fairview Separate Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Weston Loy, Brannon Lawson, Nathan Lawson, Darrell Loy, Donnie Bolin, Jeron Loy.
Honorary pallbearers: James Brown, Tony Ferguson, Dean Hayes, Todd Bloyd, Craig Martin, Lawrence Purvis, Larry Story, Andy Wilson, Jack Bell.
Interment in the Dixon Cemetery.
