A short vehicle pursuit last night led to the arrest of a Russell Springs woman.
Deputy Sheriff Corey Meyer attempted to stop a vehicle shortly after 8 o’clock last night just south of Jamestown on highway 127, when the driver of the vehicle reportedly failed to stop.
After a short pursuit, Meyer arrested 35-year-old Nicole Hicks of Russell Springs on charges of Fleeing and Evading, second degree, and resisting arrest. Hicks was also charged with various motor vehicle traffic offenses.
She was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center around 9 o’clock last night by Deputy Meyer.
