A Russell Springs man escaped serious injury early Thursday evening when he lost control of his vehicle and overturned on French Valley Road.
Russell Springs Police Officer Chasity Shirley told WJRS NEWS that 32-year-old John Bernard lost control of his 2003 Jeep, left the roadway and overturned.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene but Bernard was not injured.
However, he was arrested by Officer Shirley and charged with Driving Under the Influence, first offense, and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center around 8:15 last evening.
