The filing deadline for a seat on the Jamestown and Russell Springs city Councils is 4 o’clock this afternoon.
Ruth Hill, Deputy County Clerk in charge of elections, told WJRS NEWS last evening that no new candidates filed on Monday. Persons wishing to enter either race must file their papers in the county clerk’s office by 4 o’clock this afternoon.
