COVID-19 Case Update for Russell and Adair County

Russell Countians received some good news last evening, and that was no new confirmed cases of the Coronavirus.

County Judge Gary Robertson announced the news on Tuesday evening. Russell County has had a total of 16 cases with two more released from self-isolation on Tuesday.

Currently, Russell County has seven cases in self-isolation or in the nursing home and two deaths.

Neighboring Adair County announced two more cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. The two cases are residents at Summit Manor Nursing Home.

This now brings Adair County to 56 total cases with six being released and four deaths.

There are now 46 active cases with 32 in home or Summit Manor isolation and 14 remain in area hospitals.
