Additional COVID-19 Case in Russell County

Russell County Judge-Executive Gary Robertson announced on Monday evening that the county has an additional case of COVID-19.

This now makes a total of 16 cases in Russell County with nine active cases.
Four are in the local nursing home on isolation and the other five are on home self-isolation.

It was also reported last evening that Adair County had an additional case of the Coronavirus. The case is an employee at Summit Manor Nursing Home. Adair has now had 54 cases with five released from isolation and four deaths.

There are now 45 active cases with 31 in home or Summit Manor isolation and 14 in area hospitals.
