A house trailer, located just outside of Russell Springss, was totally destroyed by fire early last evening. WJRS News spoke with Russell Springs Fire Chief H. M. Bottom about the fire.
The department received a call around 6:30 last evening to a trailer located on Hemlock Drive, just off north highway 127. Bottom said apparently the trailer belonged to Damien Anderson of Russell Springs and was just recently moved to the property.
Some nearby structures were not damaged and Chief Bottom said the cause of the fire is unknown but an investigation is underway. Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.
