Courts Are Closed Until Mid April Except Emergencies

Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice John Minton issued an Order late Thursday, closing all court appearances until at least April 10th. Citing concern over spreading the Coronavirus, Minton ordered that there be no in person court appearances across the Commonwealth unless there is an emergency situation or in domestic violence cases.

On Monday, March 16th, Russell Circuit Clerk Tony Kerr will be in our studio to discuss plans for Russell Circuit and District Courts, as well as jurors who have been summoned to appear in Court. Clerk Kerr will be in our studio and on the air LIVE at 7:15 Monday morning.
