Weather Last Couple of Days Has Caused Problems in the State

After two days of hard rain, snow began falling overnight across much of Kentucky which remains under a Winter Weather Advisory.  The two days of rain caused widespread flooding in parts of the state, especially in southeastern Kentucky.   Residents in Middlesboro saw that town’s street flood from rising waters in nearby Cumberland river, prompting emergency declarations being issued, overnight, as temperatures fell, snow began, and continues this morning across much of the state.
