Laker Sports, Monday, February 10th

The Lady Lakers were led to a Runner-Up Finish for the meet by Emma Rae Phillips who brought home a Region 3 Championship in 200 IM, and a Runner-Up finish in 500 Freestyle.  Emma Rae set new Laker Records in Both Events, and was named to the All Region Team.

The Laker Men were led by Max Lawson with runner-up finishes in 100 Backstroke & 100 Butterfly.  Max set a new Laker record in the 100 Butterfly and was named to the All-Region Team.

The Lady Lakers qualified 2 relays and 2 individuals to swim at the KHSAA State Championship Meet at the University of Kentucky’s Lancaster Aquatic Center on February 21^st. 

The 200 Medley, & 200 Free Relay Teams qualified.

Emma Rae Phillips qualified in 200 IM and 500 Free

Gaby Alvizo qualified in 100 Butterfly.

Max Lawson will be representing the Laker Men in 100 Butterfly & 100 Backstroke.
