According to reports, 34 year old Lucas McFarland of Jamestown was arrested by Trooper Billy Begley on Saturday and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree, first offense, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine. McFarland was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested Saturday was 36 year old Stephanie Portman. Portman was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree, first offense, methamphetamine; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and trafficking in a controlled substance, third degree. She was arrested by Trooper Harper of the State Police.
Both were lodged in the Russell County detention center.
