State Rep. Carney is Making Improvements

According to state officials, State Rep. and House Majority Floor Leader John “Bam” Carney (who represents Adair and Taylor County) remains in the hospital due to pancreatitis, but doctors say he is making improvements.

Carney has remained in the hospital since Christmas Day after becoming ill following a family Christmas lunch. Since then, Carney has undergone two surgeries. Carney has served in the legislature since 2009.
