The Russell County Hospital had a special called meeting last evening, making the promotion of Abigail Eads to Director of Food and Nutrition Services at Russell County Hospital official following the recent retirement of longtime Director, Belva Sue Thomas. Abigail has worked in the Dietary Department preparing for this for several months. Other news from the meeting, the board met in closed session for two hours with no action being taken.
