According to Fire Chief Jeff Landers, the call came in around 3:00 pm. The fire department quickly responded to West Highway 92 near the Russell/Adair county line. Upon arrival, they found a car belonging to Larry Wallace fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished quickly. The firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.
