Jamestown Business Escaped Damage After a Fire Wednesday

WJRS News has learned that Jamestown Fire Department members were called to the Jamestown Auto Sales location, just south of town on Highway 127. Fire Chief Jeff Landers told WJRS News the call came in around 11 New Year’s Day and when firefighters arrived on the scene, they found miscellaneous tires and car parts on fire, all located behind the business. No damage was reported to the building, according to Chief Landers. Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour and were assisted by members of the Jamestown Police Department.
