Earthquake Hit Along Kentucky Tennessee Border Monday

The U.S. Geological Survey says the epicenter was near Fincastle, Tennessee. The agency upgraded the magnitude of the quake to a 3.8 Monday afternoon.

The earthquake could be felt in Williamsburg, Middlesboro, and Corbin and several in the Lake Cumberland Area reported feeling the quake.

The Kentucky Geological Survey says earthquakes occur frequently in Kentucky but go unfelt most of the time.
