Strong to Severe Storms Possible Tuesday

Audio forecast below…

Good Monday, everyone. We are starting off the work week with partly to mostly cloudy skies and temperatures warming up into the mid 70’s. Clouds should break through later on leaving us with partly sunny skies and temperatures warming into the 80’s. Changes are in store though as head into the day on Tuesday as a cold front will come in bringing the chance of showers and thunderstorms and a couple could go severe. Here’s the latest outlook from the Storm Prediction Center and this is for Tuesday…

You can see most of the Lake Cumberland Area is in that level 2 “Slight Risk” while the everyone else is in the level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storms. Not expecting any widespread severe weather, in fact not everyone will get thunderstorms tomorrow. Looks like the main threats for any storms that do go severe will be strong winds and large hail. Here’s the updates hour-by-hour for Tuesday…

As always check back for updates or changes in the forecast.
