Russell County School Nutrition will be participating in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, Russell Co. High School, Russell Co. Middle School, Russell Springs, Salem & Jamestown Elementary will offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students due to the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision for school year 2019-2020. Students will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a household application. In addition to the breakfast & lunch a 3rd meal from 2:30-3:00 will also be available at no cost to students. This meal service is provided only on days’ academic enrichment is offered after regular school hours. Students not enrolled in the academic afterschool program CAN STILL take part this meal service at no cost.
