Magistrates Ronald Johnson, Mickey Garner and Steve Richardson were the “yes” votes while Magistrates Terry Waddell and Larry Holt voted “no.” Several individuals spoke out at the meeting against the marina being allowed a utility and courtesy dock at the former Alligator I site, saying it would eventually lead to the marina controlling the parking and ramp located there, ending public access to the site.
