In action on Thursday night, the Lady Laker volleyball team hosted district foe Cumberland County. The JV defeated the Lady Panthers 21-6, 21-6 and the varsity won as well, 25-11, 25-20 and 25-14.
In RCMS girls’ basketball action at the middle school on Thursday evening, the 7th grade defeated Hart County 39-14 while the 8th grade fell to Hart 37-18. The RCMS 7th grade football team defeated Casey County 30-0 at Finley Field on Thursday well.
Tonight, head coach Ryan Richardson and the 1-0 Russell County Mighty Laker football team travel to 0-1 Green County for a 7 pm kickoff with the Dragons.
