Shower and Thunderstorm Chances Increase Tonight

There’s a look at the current satellite this afternoon. You can see have a few cumulus clouds in the area, but back off to our west around Paducah we have those thicker clouds and those are assocaited with showers and thunderstorms that will move in our direction later on tonight. As of this latest run of the model, it looks like our best chance of precipitation will be in the early hours of Tuesday. No kind of severe weather is expected, but there could be a few thunderstorms. Here’s a look at the precipitation totals for the next week…

Totals for our area are around a half inch for the week, so not a wash out is expected for the next week. As always check back for updates or changes in the forecast.
