Rita Popplewell Johnson, age 62, of Jamestown, passed away Sunday, July 14th, 2019 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset.
She is survived by:

- Ann Popplewell of Jamestown
One Sister
- Regina Roy of Colorado
One Brother
- Robert Popplewell of Tennessee
Two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Rita Popplewell Johnson will be held Thursday, July 18th at 10:00 am at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Square Oak Cemetery. Friends may call for visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 8:00 am Thursday at the Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs. Donations can be made to KY Daughters of the American Revolution and or Jane Lampton Chapter in Columbia. The family requests no home visits.
