Earlier this week the Russell County Fiscal Court heard the affirmative action report for the 2018-19 fiscal year. A total of 39 hires were made by the county government during that time period with 26 males and 13 females making up that figure. All of those hired were Caucasian.
Of the 39, 24 were hired part-time and 15 hired full-time. Seven of the part-time employees were female and 17 males while six females were full-time and nine were male.
The affirmative action report is presented to the fiscal court at the completion of each fiscal year.
