Fire crews were called out early Friday morning to a vehicle fire on Garr Ridge Road.
Firefighters with the Jamestown Fire Department were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. to reports of a van on fire next to a structure.
When crews arrived on scene, they found a 2003 Chevy van loaded with oxygen bottles and approximately 250 gallons of liquid oxygen fully involved. Some smaller oxygen tanks exploded during the fire, destroying the van completely. A nearby structure sustained light heat damage and had a window blown out due to the explosions. Two other vehicles also received light damage.
Firefighters were on scene for approximately one hour. No injuries were reported.
