Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary June 2019 unemployment rate was 4.1 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics, an agency within the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet. The unemployment rate for June was up from the 4 percent reported for May.
The preliminary June 2019 jobless rate was down 0.3 percentage points from the 4.4 percent recorded for the state in June 2018.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for June 2019 was 3.7 percent, up 0.1 percentage points from May 2019, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
