The Russell County Lady Laker volleyball teams played back-to-back matches Monday and Tuesday, with the freshmen winning both of their contests.
At Laker Gym on Monday, September 21st, the freshmen and junior varsity teams each defeated Somerset Christian School in straight sets, two to none. The varsity team fell to Somerset Christian, two to none.
The Lady Lakers traveled to Wayne County on Tuesday, September 22nd. The freshmen won two sets to none, while the junior varsity team won in three sets, two to one. The varsity team lost a three-set match to Wayne County, two to one.
