Pulaski man charged with attempted murder after alleged attack with bat

A Pulaski County man was arrested and charged with attempted murder after allegedly attacking two individuals with a bat.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said 44-year-old Jonathan R.C. Gross was arrested after two people were reportedly hospitalized with serious injuries.

Officials say it happened just before 5:45 local time Sunday morning. Authorities say they received a call from an individual who said Gross struck him and his girlfriend with a bat.

Deputies were able to take Gross into custody at the residence. He was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder, disorderly conduct second degree, two counts of terroristic threatening third degree, and public intoxication.
