Russell County High School has its next principal.
Jordan Turner is set to take over as the school’s next principal following the upcoming retirement of principal Shanna Tarter.
Turner was selected by the high school’s site-based decision-making council during a special-called meeting yesterday evening.
Turner currently serves as principal of Green County High School and the Green County Area Technology Center.
He is a graduate of Monroe County High School and Lindsey Wilson University. He and his wife, Leah, reside in Russell County with their two sons.
